Jasquiat is a singer, songwriter, poet, model, social entrepreneur and cultural anthropologist. He represents a new wave of millennial creative entrepreneur hybrids focusing on representation and ownership. He was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts to a mother of mixed Afro-Caribbean and heritage who immigrated to the US from The Bahamas as a teen, and a father of Native American and African American heritage from Alabama. Jasquiat’s acumen includes modeling, fashion styling, mixed media art, creative activism and magazine publishing.
Jasquiat’s sound is world music, r&b, soul, dancehall, Latin soul, reggaeton and afropop with the mission to build bridges to the global African diaspora. He sings in English, Spanish and Portuguese. His sound is world, r&B soul, with Afro Carribbean influences. He moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico at the end of 2018 to work on his music career.
